Carr, a partner in Rawle’s Philadelphia office, successfully obtained a defense verdict in a commercial litigation matter against a global financial technology institution involving claims for discrimination, predatory lending practices and civil rights violations arising out of an installment loan to finance medical treatments.

In the face of a six figure pre-trial settlement demand, Mr. Carr successfully defended the client in a bench trial in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and defeated claims that his client had engaged in unlawful racial discrimination by charging an excessive interest rate.
