In her career, Ms. Strawn served as general counsel and advisor to a charter school and education management organization and represented them in special education litigation and employment matters. Ms. Strawn worked as a staff attorney defending employers in workers’ compensation and cases of general litigation while employed at a large insurance company, and she provided counsel in insurance litigation at several Philadelphia area law firms. “We are excited to have Jennifer join Rawle & Henderson. She brings with her a wealth of insurance coverage and litigation experience that will be invaluable for our clients,” Lawrence Wright, Partner. Ms. Strawn successfully participated in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court appeal for the respondent in Six L’s Packing v. Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (Williamson). 44 A.3d 1148 (Pa. 2012).
Ms. Strawn holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Santa Clara and a juris doctorate from University Of Pennsylvania School Of Law. After law school, Ms. Strawn clerked 16040584-1 for the Honorable Bernard J. Goodhart of the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for Eastern and Middle Pennsylvania.
