New York, NY (October 4, 2023) – Iolanda D’Ambrosi-Francavilla, a partner in Rawle & Henderson’s New York City office, was invited to speak to students in a legal studies class at St. John’s University (SJU).
A member of the SJU Class of 2005, Iolanda was invited to the Staten Island Campus by Professor Joseph Kenny Jr., the son of her former teacher, Professor Joseph Kenny Sr.
The members of Professor Kenny’s Civil Litigation class are all women, who hope to attend law school in the near future. Iolanda spoke about her journey through law school, and her path to partner at Rawle & Henderson. During the open discussions, Iolanda presented a few case scenarios, asking the students how they would handle certain situations, letting them know there was ‘no wrong answer.’
During the Q&A the students asked her about law school and what it’s like being a practicing attorney.
“It was a very nice evening, and the students were lovely,” said Iolanda.
