Rawle & Henderson Grows Its Medical and Dental Professional Liability Practices with the Addition of Four Attorneys to its New York Offices

New York, NY (November 21, 2024) – Rawle & Henderson is pleased to welcome four attorneys to its offices in New York. Each attorney represents medical and dental professionals, hospitals and nursing homes in cases of medical professional liability.
Associates Nadia Balkaran, Rachel M. Epstein and Samantha M. Geller are located in the Firm’s New York City Office.
Nadia Balkaran is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, NY, where she was the Executive Managing Editor of the New York Real Property Law Journal. She also served as a Summer Legal Intern with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (Region 2), New York NY.
Rachel M. Epstein earned her J.D. at Albany Law School in Albany, NY. She served as a legal intern for the Honorable Carmen St. George, Suffolk County New York Supreme Court, and as a law clerk for the NY State Public Employees Federation.
Samantha M. Geller is a graduate of the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. She served as a judicial intern with the Honorable R. Bruce Cozzens, Jr., in the Supreme Court of Nassau County, NY. Ms. Geller is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and the Southern Districts of New York.
Zabeen S. Rahman joins Rawle & Henderson as an Associate in the firm’s Long Island, NY office. A graduate of the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, Ms. Rahman served as a Judicial Intern in Queens County Civil Court, Jamaica NY with both The Honorable Maria Ressos and The Honorable Terrence C. O’Connor. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and the Southern Districts of New York.
In addition to defending matters of medical professional liability, each attorney will also participate in cases involving commercial motor vehicles, personal injury and premises liability.
