Philadelphia PA (June 26, 2023) – Rawle & Henderson LLP Executive Committee Chairman John C. McMeekin, II, has been invited to join the board of directors of the Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), one of the largest and most comprehensive public health organizations in the nation.
Mr. McMeekin has always valued public service, and has long been active in local, state and national organizations. In his Delaware County, PA community he was a member of the Radnor Township School Board, serving three terms as board president. He has also served as a board member and president of the Delaware County Vocational-Technical Education School. Mr. McMeekin was on the board of the Delaware County Community College, and the Delaware County Intermediate Unit, which provides education to children with special needs. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania School Board Association.
Mr. McMeekin has been a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician. He served on the board of directors of the Radnor Fire Company
Since 2007 Mr. McMeekin has been a member of the board of directors of the Delaware County Community Foundation, which facilitates donor-directed charitable giving. He also serves as a Counselor (board member) for the Historical Society of Pennsylvania.

Mr. McMeekin is active in the American Bar Association (ABA) and its leadership in areas of practice, governance and public service. In February of 2023 he was elected to a three-year term on the ABA’s House of Delegates. Since 2020 he is the Chair of the ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. Mr. McMeekin has served the ABA as a council member, section secretary, revenue officer, Chair of the Toxic Tort & Environmental Law Committee, Chair of the International Law Committee, and Chair of the CLE Board. He co-chaired the Corporate Counsel Initiative Task Force and is an active member of the Committee on Diversity and Inclusion.
