Philadelphia, PA (April 9, 2024) – Rawle & Henderson partner Jennifer Seme hopes to see many American Bar Association (ABA) members at the 32nd Annual Toxic Tort and Environmental Law Spring Meeting. The conference is being held at the Omni Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, April 11-13.

Over the course of two days, leading litigators from both the defense and plaintiff’s bar will lead panels discussing the risks associated with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).  The panels will provide an overview of the regulatory landscape and trends in regulatory actions, as well as personal injury and consumer based claims arising from PFAS exposures.  Experts will provide the current state of the science and medicine to assist participants in the evaluation of risk.  Additional panels will cover nuclear verdicts, insurance coverage for PFAS-related claims, and litigation involving other toxic substances. Attendees can earn as many as 9.25 hours of CLE credit.

“The conference provides an overview for lawyers, in-house counsel, risk management professionals and claims adjusters looking to understand how the current state of the science and the regulatory landscape shape PFAS exposure analysis,” said Jennifer Seme.
