Paul Blutman joins Rawle & Henderson LLP in firm’s new office on Long Island

Paul E. Blutman has joined Rawle & Henderson as the resident partner in the firm’s new office on Long Island. He concentrates his practice on the defense of medical and dental professionals, hospitals, nursing homes, products manufacturers’ liability, premises liability, toxic torts, auto liability, and commercial and business litigation. He earned both his J.D. and B.A. degrees from Hofstra University.

“As a Long Island resident who has, for 34 years, litigated cases in the Courts of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens County, I am excited and proud to join Rawle & Henderson and help the firm open its new office in Mineola,” Mr. Blutman said.  “I look forward to continuing my law practice here and strengthening the firm’s practice in New York State.”

Rawle & Henderson opened its Long Island office in June 2014 to expand its coverage and capabilities in New York State. This is the firm’s second New York office, adding to its existing Wall Street office which serves clients in the New York City area.

Mr. Blutman lectures to medical and dental professionals, hospitals, and corporations on liability issues. He has also lectured as a faculty participant for the Hofstra University School of Law/NITA trial advocacy program for 25 years.  Mr. Blutman is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association and the New York County Bar Association. He is also a founding member of the New York State Medical Defense Bar Association. He is a recipient of the Hofstra University School of Law Distinguished Alumni Award, OMSNIC Rising Star Award and the Hofstra Law Distinguished Faculty Award.

Mr. Blutman has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell for over 23 years. He is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New York, as well as the Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
