Iolanda D’Ambrosi-Francavilla Obtains Defense Verdict in Nassau County Dental Malpractice Case

Published on October 10, 2025

New York, NY (September 30, 2025) – Partner Iolanda D’Ambrosi-Francavilla  of Rawle & Henderson’s Dental Professional Liability practice group secured a defense verdict in a Nassau County dental malpractice case successfully rebuffing a patient’s claims that her gums were negligently injured by a negligently performed dental procedure.

Rawle’s attorneys presented expert witness testimony demonstrating that the dentist did not breach the dental standard of care in performing the dental procedure at issue. While plaintiff’s expert witness attempted to establish that the dentist breached the standard of care that testimony was successfully refuted on cross-examination by Ms. D’Ambrosi-Francavilla, when the plaintiff’s expert conceded that he did not observe any injury to plaintiff’s gums.

Ms. D’Ambrosi-Francavilla  was ably assisted by Associate Zabeen Rahman in preparing the case for trial.
