Hackensack, NJ (September 6, 2024) – Hackensack Partner Floyd Cottrell will participate in a panel discussion on pre-suit strategies presented by the Middlesex County Bar Association (MCBA) on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.  As a highly accomplished and respected defense attorney who previously participated in similar MCBA Continuing Legal education programs, Mr. Cottrell was once again asked to share his insights and perspectives in a part of the MCBA’s Truck Litigation Trial Skills series.

Each session will be held at the MCBA’s office at 87 Bayard Street in New Brunswick, NJ, and can be attended in person or remotely via Zoom. Mr. Cottrell is a member of Rawle & Henderson’s commercial motor vehicle practice group. He is an experienced litigator, and has taken many cases to verdict in bench and jury trials throughout the courts in New York and New Jersey.  In addition, Mr. Cottrell is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney of the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Cottrell is on the faculty of the CLM Claims College, School of Transportation; a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA); and in his second term as Chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) Transportation Committee. In addition, Mr. Cottrell is currently in his second term on the Board of Directors of the National Retail & Restaurant Defense Association (NRRDA).
