It is the continuing policy of Rawle & Henderson LLP to afford equal opportunity to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual preference, national origin, age or veteran status, or disability. This policy of equal opportunity embraces all aspects of employment, including hiring, promotion and transfer, selection for other opportunities, wage and salary administration, and the application of service, retirement, and employee benefit policies. Underlying this policy is the recognition by Rawle & Henderson LLP that its continued growth and success depend on the development and utilization of the full range of the nation’s human resources.
Employing lawyers at our eight offices, Rawle & Henderson’s greatest asset is its lawyers. Over the years, our attorneys have served the public with distinction in many important professional and public offices, including U.S. Attorney for Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Judge for the Court of Common Pleas and President and Secretary of the American Bar Association. We seek a diversity of backgrounds, interests and goals in both law school graduates and lateral hires. Associates benefit from the firm’s reputation for adherence to the profession’s highest ethical standards.
Rawle & Henderson LLP seeks motivated individuals with outstanding academic credentials who can balance the challenges of a complex legal practice with a well-rounded lifestyle.
While new associates are provided with the support and experience necessary to grow as professionals, Rawle & Henderson encourages new lawyers to assume substantial responsibility from the outset. It is not uncommon for our first-year litigation associates to take depositions, argue motions, and prepare and try state and federal court arbitrations.
In addition to undertaking primary responsibility for a number of matters, new associates are given an opportunity to work with partners and associates on different types of cases. Under the guidance of supervising partners, Rawle & Henderson associates routinely assist in the preparation of complex matters.
Recognizing that a person’s legal education does not end with law school, the firm has instituted an extensive in-house associate training program benefiting associates at all levels. Associates are also encouraged to participate in continuing legal education programs offered outside the firm.
We recognize that feedback and performance evaluation are crucial aspects of an associate’s development. Therefore, annual reviews are performed and continual feedback is provided by the partners and senior associates who work with junior associates. Further feedback and input are received from the supervising partner to whom the associate is assigned.
All associates are encouraged to become active in client interaction and business development.
Rawle & Henderson, LLP, is committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective legal services. We are able to consistently meet this high standard with the support of our administrative staff in the paralegal, technological and financial fields. The firm provides innovative work assignments and learning opportunities for the following administrative roles.
Rawle & Henderson is committed to fostering the professional growth of its lawyers, as well as keeping pace with the ever-changing trends in the law. Our commitment to continuing legal education is reflected in our various training programs for associates of all levels of experience.
