BIO
Michael L. Moretti III is a Partner in the Firm’s New York City office. He is a civil defense litigator representing medical and dental professionals, hospitals and nursing homes in malpractice and wrongful death cases.
Prior to joining Rawle, Mr. Moretti handled commercial litigation, real property and other business matters, as well as defended hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice and nursing home matters.
Mr. Moretti was an intern with the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office where he compiled and organized “Giglio” information, observed “Dunaway,” “Hilton”, “Mapp”, “Sandoval” and SORA hearings and researched issues regarding interpretations of penal statutes.
While an undergraduate student in Washington, D.C., Mr. Moretti volunteered for MedLife, assisting in the organization and coordination of fundraisers to raise revenue for foreign humanitarian efforts that provide access to healthcare services to citizens in undeveloped countries.
