Maryanne Kolenovsky is a partner in Rawle & Henderson’s Long Island and New York City offices. She represents health care providers in all medical, dental and other specialty fields. After becoming licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in 1977, Maryanne worked in both nursing in various hospital positions, working her way up to management positions, including becoming the Director of Risk Management of a 300+ acute care hospital. This experience makes her especially committed to assisting professionals during litigation and disciplinary hearings. Maryanne has extensive trial experience in the defense of medical, dental, nursing and chiropractic professionals. She has tried over 80 cases to verdict in venues throughout all boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland, Orange and Columbia Counties. Maryanne has represented physicians, dentists and nursing professionals in disciplinary matters before the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and the Office of Professional Discipline. In addition to malpractice and disciplinary cases Maryanne has handled various types of cases for not-for-profit corporations, and property damage claims.
