Kohar M. Boyadjian is an Of Counsel in our Hackensack office.
Ms. Boyadjian is an experienced attorney with a broad range of expertise including litigation, insurance defense, transactional and corporate work. She provides dynamic and dependable representation to her clients in all legal matters. Ms. Boyadjian provides counsel to major premises liability insurance companies in defense of civil litigation and has also defended local municipalities in tax appeals in County Tax Boards and State Tax Courts.
After graduating Pace University School of Law, Ms. Boyadjian began her career as an Associate representing major transportation companies in insurance related matters. She successfully assisted in a multi-million dollar insurance premium litigation in Federal Court. Ms. Boyadjian also successfully defended her client, a commercial landowner, in an adverse possession suit, handling the matter from inception to verdict. She also assisted in obtaining a dismissal on behalf of a civil engineer in a complex litigation case involving construction defects.
Before joining Rawle & Henderson, Ms. Boyadjian worked for several New Jersey insurance and workers’ compensation law firms. She also maintained her own solo practice for over twenty years where she represented clients in criminal and civil actions.
Ms. Boyadjian is an Adjunct Professor at Pace University where she teaches undergraduate courses in Comparative Politics, International Relations, American Government, Constitutional Law, Civil Liberties, Bill of Rights and Politics of Law in America. She previously served as an Adjunct lecturer at St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, NJ.
