Justine K. Woods is an associate in the Midtown Manhattan office of Rawle & Henderson LLP. She has extensive experience in medical and dental malpractice. She is highly skilled in motion practice, accomplishing dismissal on behalf of a number of clients. She handles all pre-trial phases of complex, high-exposure medical and dental malpractice litigation with a strong understanding of both the legal and medical issues involved.
Justine earned her J.D., cum laude, from the George Washington University Law School in 2014. She received the Henry R. Berger Award for Excellence in the field of tort law. She gained valuable experience in the medical and health fields during her time with the Health Insurance Counseling Project, which advocates for the rights of Washington, D.C.’s Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.
Justine earned her B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, in 2011. She was a member of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, the Alpha Psi Omega National Theater Honor Society, the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, the St. John’s University Show Choir and the Chappell Players Theater Group.
Justine is admitted to practice in New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association.
Prior to joining Rawle & Henderson LLP, Justine was an attorney for a New York City-based firm focusing on the defense of medical and dental professionals.
