James H. Curry, III, serves as Counsel to the Firm’s Harrisburg, PA office. Mr. Curry’s practice is dedicated to defending employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. He has successfully litigated before workers’ compensation judges, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. His litigation experience includes counseling clients on elimination or reduction of exposure and mediating cases to conclusion. In addition to representing clients in the courtroom, Mr. Curry frequently assists clients in developing safety protocols to prevent the occurrence of claims and drafting documentation necessary to manage claims from their outset.
Mr. Curry is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He earned a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 2009 and a Bachelor of Arts from Lebanon Valley College in 2006.
Outside of law, in January 2014, Mr. Curry was sworn in as Mayor of Middletown, Pennsylvania, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Having won re-election in November 2017, Mr. Curry was sworn in for his second term in January 2018.
