G. William (Bill) DeLaney is Of Counsel in the firm’s Clifton, New Jersey office, and is a member of the Insurance Coverage practice group. Mr. DeLaney has 20 years of experience in Insurance Defense and Commercial Litigation.

Before joining Rawle, Mr. DeLaney had extensive experience in New Jersey and New York in multiple practice areas including Insurance Defense, Construction Defect, Legal Malpractice Defense, Commercial Litigation, Product Liability Litigation, and Insurance Coverage Litigation.

Mr. DeLaney has extensive experience representing large corporations and consistently securing favorable settlements on behalf of his clients. He has tried cases across multiple areas of practice and has achieved a substantial record of successful Summary Judgment dispositions in insurance defense matters. Additionally, Mr. DeLaney has successfully argued before the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, leading to a published decision in Bay Plaza Mall, LLC and v. Argonaut Insurance Company 224 A.D.3d 469 (1^st Dept. 2024) and has drafted successful appellate briefs leading to published decisions, including Chance v. McCann, 405 N.J. Super. 547 (App. Div. 2009).
