Derek Schlax is an Associate with the Firm’s Philadelphia office, who is a member of the Catastrophic Loss, Casualty, Commercial Motor Vehicle, Construction, Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Environmental, Toxic, and Mass Torts Practice Groups.
Mr. Schlax regularly represents clients ranging from major insurers to large corporations by drafting and litigating discovery, dispositive and pretrial motions and otherwise propounding and assisting clients in responding to written discovery. Further, his practice involves substantial motion work, including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and pre-trial motions.
Mr. Schlax also manages and reviews large-scale document productions, researches novel legal issues, and prepares and conducts depositions.
