BIO
Charis G. Moore is a partner in Rawle & Henderson’s New York City office. She is a member of the Commercial Motor Vehicle practice group, defending motor carriers, their drivers and the companies that insure them in commercial vehicle accident claims in New Jersey and New York.
Ms. Moore has experience handling all phases of litigation in state and federal courts. Guiding Rawle & Henderson’s Rapid Emergency Response team is part of her practice responsibilities. She is available to Rawle’s clients 24/7, leading a team of attorneys and experts to accident sites to manage the investigation, ensure the preservation of evidence and uphold our clients’ constitutional rights.
Ms. Moore is uniquely qualified for this work: she is a certified Crash Reconstruction Professional, having completed Northwestern University’s five core crash reconstruction courses in crash investigations, vehicle dynamics, and accident reconstruction. In addition, prior to law school she drove tractor-trailers for more than eight years locally in the MidAtlantic region, and over-the-road for two well-known trucking firms.
